Hello, 

I have been a teacher's assistant for over 15 years. I have taught elementary school, middle school, and high school.  Online Courses at the Carter School was originally intended for high school students who do not want to attend college. Then I realized that this program can be of help to adults too.  I want to help people improve their lives, people who are pressed for time. People who want to get out of debt. People who are dissatisfied with their paychecks, what to do something about it but don't because they want to avoid student loans. People who are on a time constraint of juggling family life before becoming overcome with sleep at the end of the day.

 

All classes at the Online Courses at the Carter School are very short-term. The careers showcased are those who begin at $30,000 a year, not bad for an entry level position. Skills associated with those careers are focused on practicum modules. Each course is only 30 days, two hours at best a night. The price is economical, under $50, not too expensive for working parents. Assignments change every seven days; Sunday is the last day for work to be submitted.  Monday is when new assignments will be posted. I will be meeting you all on Zoom, haven't decided what day yet, my decision will be based on a poll.  I will be asking you what day is good for you all, the majority wins.
